Welcome Back Aircard

Sinton, Texas

A pile of emails came in today along with blog comments. Before you could say BOO it was after ten am. Wow that much work early is rough on an old fat man.

After more consideration and research, it was decide that wifi only would not give the security desired for my financial transactions. It seems that most wifi is easily captured for bad uses if someone wants to do bad things. My aircard system is much harder to hack. So the aircard is back in the picture again. A booster antenna was ordered. It will be installed high on Comfort Castle to give my aircard a much better chance of solid hookups in marginal areas. My life certainly does swerve around a lot doesn’t it.

After lunch it was time to degrime the Truck and Castle some. The extendable soft tip brush was brought out to do the job. Wal-Mart carries the brushes and they do a good job of not scratching the paint or fiberglass. Hoses were assembled and placed. The lightweight ladder was ready to get busy.

There was all kinds of scum on the Truck since most rv places do not let you put water on the truck before it gets put on the grass for irrigation. STUPID. Anyway the Truck and the Castle are nearly back to the original colors. It did take awhile to get that chore finished.

Here is a picture of my solution to the weed eater vs. utilities problem.
Putting the hoses and cord into rain gutters should save them from the stinging string of the weed eaters when the folks trim the grass here in the campground. They are actually very careful, but it never hurts to give the workers a little room for error. When it is time to leave, the gutters will be cut into two pieces each to allow them to fit into the back of the Truck better.

There are several chores planned for during the Teams time here in Sinton this winter. However we do not want to forget that the main purpose now is to try to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM
