Back And Forth

Del Rio, Texas

Here we are in the desert and it is hot and humid like back on the Gulf coast. Today has been rain and less rain, but always wet. Several times fishing was attempted between showers and storms. Boats were leaving the launch ramp, then before you knew it they were back running from another storm. Then out on the lake again. Then back again. It is some very tumultuous weather out here right now.

Tomorrow is rolling west time again. The OFM blog will likely not be daily for some time. Both wifi and aircard service is spotty out there. When a signal is found then something will be published. In the mean time rest assured that there will be no diminishing of my efforts at trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM

  3. Also, Barney, you might try Nel's for a meal sometime. Not only is the wifi free and welcome, it is a great little place for a nice affordable meal and excellent atmosphere. It is built into a used bookstore that may offer some good reading at affordable prices. I have really enjoyed Nel's over the past year on my visits. They are open from 10am-4pm every day.

  4. Barney I had not had a chance to get online this week and had no idea you were in Del Rio.

The local library has WIFI and a couple of the RV parks but that is about it.

  5. I am missing my daily Barney fix. I hope everything is okay. I worry the most when people travel alone.
