Nothing going on today. When the grocery run was made this morning, there were more employees at Walmart than shoppers. The roads were nearly barren of folks also. On return to the Castle the groceries were put away. Next was cooking some chicken and rice stew for a few meals. Four spare meals were put away into the freezer.
The rest of the day was spent staying out of the over 100 degree heat index misery outside. The best part was the forty five minute nap of luxury sleep. Of course the a/c is running like there is unlimited money in the bank account. The electric bill should be interesting next week. Seventeen cents a KW here on the coast. Not cheap.
The day is mostly gone and it is still a hot humid day. Perhaps tomorrow will be a better day at trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.

You must of gone pretty early to the store even though the very few times I have gone on Sunday there doesn't seem to be a very big crowd, folks sleeping in or getting ready to go to church I gather.

Most but not all monthly spots are plus electric.

ReplyDeleteOur WalMart is always busy, personally I don't use it. Too big and confusing to me.
and sounds like you need an alternative electric source to run your AC.
