Fredericksburg, Texas
We got all the travelers out the gate and on the road by ten am this morning. My truck was working up a heck of a froth on the front bumper wanting to go along. Comfort Castle just sat there pouting. Our time will come again. Hitch itch must be brought about by diesel, propane and blood since we all three have the itch.
Other than the goodbyes, nothing in the way of an adventure even tried to happen today. It was another not feeling well day, but at least there are clues today. Itchy red rimmed eyes and a mild headache all day usually means allergy. The strong front that blew in yesterday must have brought some undesirable gifts for me. Most likely tomorrow will be a lot better. Tonight is supposed to be bitter cold and clear---37 degrees OUCH. The heaters will be working tonight.
Late morning was visit Mac at Fort Martin Scott. We solved a lot of worldly troubles very easily. Of course there has to be opposing opinions to keep the friendly discussions lively. Eventually there were visitors to interrupt the conversations. A goodbye was said and off to the grocery store on the way home.
After lunch a nap was desperately needed. Three hours later my eyes blinked open with the sun coming in the window right terrorizing my face. My blood had been replaced with cold molasses. Man this allergy stuff is rough.
To get myself going, a little golf pitch and putt practice was tried. What a dismal event!!! But at least there was blood back in the veins and even flowing slightly.
Now there is chicken cooking to be put away in individual meal quantities in the freezer. After supper it will be an unusual event in this home called TV time with some freshly popped popcorn and rootbeer. It is not the proper time for vigorous physical activity. Look out for some adventure tomorrow while trying to have tooooo much fun. TheOFM.
