Talk about a day of goofing off. This has been it. Early today a mass of thunderstorms started coming through the area and kept coming and coming. It was about 7pm before I set foot out of my little home for a walk around the park. Much to my surprise I found five lost golf balls while walking near the golf course. My walk even visited the alligator pond back in the trees away from the normal use area. This stormy weather was probably just as well since I was very tired until later in the afternoon. Maybe all the paddling yesterday got to me.
The storms did give me a good excuse to call all my relatives to touch base for the first time in a few weeks. Plans for some visits were confirmed and solidified. Now I have some firm goals for the first part of June. Looks like the trip to Alabama for adventures is a go.
The other great news is that a nice lady named Brenda from the East Coast is going to buy my Yukon. She plans to take her puppy out in the boat with her. The Yukon is a great boat with a large cockpit that will allow a lot of fun with a puppy on board. I am excited for her.
This could end up with her and I miles apart each trying to have tooooo much fun at the same time. WOW neat. TheOFM.
