Last night was tough. I had Canadian Bacon pizza while sitting with some Canadians. Fatty meat has been off my diet for years so the bacon last night did a number on my stomach. When I finally got to sleep, I slept all the way to 9 am this morning. The rest of the morning was spent easing along and reading my watercolor book. My sister gave me a book on animal tracks for Christmas and it has been fun to have around when I am out and about. It is neat to know what critters have been nearby.
The weather today was bright sun and warm. Curiosity got the best of me so I looked at a highway camera back in Washington near where I used to hike a good bit. This is the weather I am glad to be gone form. It makes my joints ache just to look at it.
This evening I spent some more time studying the watercolor book and got so inspired that I painted a picture of the fishing pier down at the Rockport beach. No I am not going to put it in the blog. No need in making folks sick is there. Not a lot happening except getting well from the greasy food so I can go out tomorrow and have tooooo much fun. TheOFM
